My name is Shelby Gundrey and welcome to my ePortfolio. Ever since I was younger I've always had an interest in art, film, and photography, which is why I decided to do my project on photography. My research paper is about the history and affects of photography on society, and my actual project is a collection of different types of photography images that I took over the course of my hours including studio, nature, and architectural. Abstract
Photography is an art form that is based on the capturing of images through different types of lenses with different light speeds/levels. Thanks to photography, historical people, places, and events can be seen by people in the future. I learned about photography by following photographer Tim Leahy while he showed me how to do studio and architectural photography. I also did multiple independent photography walks and read about the camera and its history online. After all my research and experience I was able to take many different pictures and edit them using the techniques that I learned.
